Overview

Toomer's Corner is the intersection where downtown Auburn meets the university. Fans celebrate big wins by throwing toilet paper into the trees there.

History

The corner is named for Toomer's Drugs, a drugstore that opened there in 1896. Its famous old oak trees were poisoned by a rival fan in 2010, were removed in 2013, and have since been replaced.

Today

After wins, crowds fill the corner to "roll" the trees, which takes crowd management and cleanup.
