Employer Agreement
Version 2026-10-20. Effective October 20, 2026.
This agreement adds to the Terms of Service for anyone who uses Guardix Jobs to post jobs or review candidates (“you,” “employer”). The person who accepts it does so for themselves and for the company they register.
1. Authority and review
- You confirm that you are authorized to act for the company you register, and that everything you tell us about it is true.
- You authorize the Guardix team to review the documents and details you submit (company registration, EIN and security company license). We may contact you or ask for proof. We do not run a live government lookup.
- Jobs stay hidden until our team reviews and approves your company. We may review again at any time and suspend posting if anything you told us turns out to be untrue or cannot be shown.
2. Free, and no fees for applicants
Guardix Jobs is free for you. You may never charge, or ask for, any fee or payment from an applicant or guard: not for applications, training, uniforms, licensing, equipment, background checks or anything else, unless the law specifically requires the applicant to pay a government fee directly to the government.
3. Job posts
- Post only real, currently open positions or shifts with your company (or clearly name the client company you’re hiring for).
- Show an honest pay range and schedule, and the license level the job truly requires.
- Don’t post anything unlawful, misleading, or unrelated to security work, including multi-level marketing or “business opportunity” offers.
4. Equal opportunity
You must follow all anti-discrimination laws, including Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA and state law. Don’t state or apply preferences based on race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status or any other protected trait. Job rules in Guardix Jobs (license level, distance, experience) must be related to the job.
5. Candidate information
- Use candidate information only to evaluate and hire for the job they applied to.
- Keep it confidential. Never sell it, share it outside your hiring team, or use it for marketing.
- Protect anything you export, and delete it when you no longer need it for hiring or your legal recordkeeping.
- Follow the privacy laws that apply to you, and tell us within 72 hours at privacy@guardix.com if candidate information from Guardix Jobs is exposed.
- Don’t try to obtain candidates’ phone numbers or other contact details we keep private. Use Guardix Jobs messages until the candidate chooses to share them.
6. Background checks and consumer reports
Guardix Jobs doesn’t provide consumer reports or background checks. If you get one about a candidate, you’re responsible for complying with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and state law, including disclosure, written authorization and adverse-action notices. [Attorney to confirm that license-status display isn’t treated as a consumer report.]
7. You are the employer
You make hiring decisions and are responsible for everything that comes with employment: pay and overtime, taxes, employment eligibility verification, state guard registration and licensing duties, insurance, training and workplace safety.
8. Your team and your account
- You’re responsible for everyone you invite. Give access only to people who need it, and remove people who leave right away.
- Every team member must use two-step sign-in. Don’t share accounts.
- Company admins can post jobs, export candidate files and manage the team. Recruiters can review, message and move candidates.
9. Messages
Be professional. Messages asking for money, payment apps, gift cards or bank details are blocked automatically and may lead to suspension.
Texts and email from your own accounts. You may connect your own Twilio account and your own email domain or mail server so that messages about your applicants come from your company. If you do:
- Your messages go only to candidates who chose, on their application, to let you contact them directly, and only about that application. Everyone else continues to hear from Guardix Jobs.
- You are the sender. You are responsible for registering your numbers for business texting (including A2P 10DLC), honoring STOP and other opt-out requests, and complying with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, CAN-SPAM and similar laws.
- Phone numbers and email addresses you receive this way may be used only to communicate about that candidate’s application or employment with you, never for marketing or shared with anyone else.
- We store your credentials encrypted and use them only to send these messages. You can disconnect at any time, and we delete the credentials.
- Job alerts, license reminders and account messages always come from Guardix Jobs.
10. Connecting to the Guardix workforce platform (future)
When this becomes available, you may send a hired candidate’s details to your Guardix account only after the candidate agrees.
11. Suspension and ending this agreement
We may suspend your company’s jobs or accounts if you break this agreement, if we can’t keep your company approved, or to protect guards. You may stop using Guardix Jobs at any time; sections 4 to 7 continue to apply to hiring and data you received.
12. Responsibility
You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from claims arising out of your job posts, your hiring or employment decisions, your handling of candidate information, or your breach of this agreement or the law, to the extent the law allows.
