USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park displays the World War II battleship USS Alabama, the submarine USS Drum and a collection of military aircraft.
History
The battleship was commissioned in 1942 and served in the Atlantic and Pacific. Alabama residents raised money to bring it to Mobile, and the park opened in 1965.
Today
Visitors can tour the battleship and the submarine. The park is one of Mobile's most popular attractions.
