Job Description: Unarmed Security Guard
Main duties and responsibilities:
Monitor security cameras and watch for suspicious activity.
Patrol buildings, parking lots, and other assigned areas.
Check visitors' identification and control access to the property.
Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
Report incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns to supervisors or police.
Write daily security reports and maintain visitor logs.
Help employees, customers, and visitors when needed.
Follow company security rules and emergency procedures.
Skills needed:
Good communication and observation skills.
Honesty, reliability, and punctuality.
Ability to remain calm during stressful situations.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
High school diploma or GED may be required, depending on the employer.
