Overview
Clover Park is a county-owned ballpark in Port St. Lucie, the spring training home of the New York Mets and the home of the St. Lucie Mets minor league team.
History
The stadium opened on March 5, 1988, as Thomas J. White Stadium, named for the real estate developer who led the effort to bring the Mets to Port St. Lucie. It later carried the names Tradition Field, Digital Domain Park and First Data Field. It became Clover Park after Fiserv acquired First Data, naming it for its Clover platform, and it was renovated before the 2020 season. Its address, 31 Piazza Drive, honors Mets Hall of Famer Mike Piazza.
Today
Spring training games each February and March draw visitors from the Northeast, and the St. Lucie Mets play there during the summer.
